I spent an entire day in the presence of God
I asked for it and God gifted me with it
Allah, Father, Great Spirit, Adonai, God, Great Brooding Mother Hen
Lover, Creator, Sustainer God
Filled me
And God's angels stood, walked, lay beside me

At times like this
The fall of a leaf
The song of a bird
The purr of a cat
The sound of a violin
The twinkle of a star
The variety of faces
Your poem

Causes me to overflow
Those tears flowing down my cheeks
They are love that cannot be contained.

And this is perhaps the first outwardly religious poem we've had, though you may perhaps call it spiritual. Lovely!
