The gray racer across the bay
Rain praises lakes and ponds
Kind to kind among rushing winds
There will be no shining sunset
Just a slow turn away from gray
No celestial wishes this night
Unless the rain tires of falling
Relinquishes its momentary sway
Over everything on its way
